Frequently asked questions

Which levels and certifications do you accept?

All levels are welcome, and all recognised certifications are accepted: PADI, SSI, CMAS, ANMP, TDI, NAUI… (Open Water, Advanced, levels 1 to 3, PE40, Rescue, Divemaster). A level 1 diver or equivalent dives with a guide, down to 20 metres. To make the most of the passes, level 2 and PE40 are recommended.

Do I need to show my certification card?

Yes: please bring your certification card and, if you have one, your logbook. This is what allows us to choose with you the dives that suit your level.

Can I dive without a guide?

No. All exploration dives are guided by one of the club's instructors, whatever your level. This is what makes it possible to dive the passes of Rangiroa with peace of mind.

Which tanks do you use?

The club dives with 15-litre aluminium tanks, buoyancy-compensated, and 12-litre tanks are also available.

Do you offer nitrox?

Yes, nitrox is available to nitrox-certified divers, as a per-dive supplement. Please show your certification when you register; if you are not certified, the nitrox course can be taken on site. Nitrox is most useful on days with several dives in a row.
