If you are certified and haven't dived for more than a year, the refresher is required before any exploration dive. It is not an exam, and it is not an introductory dive: it is a refresher dive with an instructor.

We go over the equipment, buoyancy and safety skills, at your own pace. Full equipment is included.

Tell us the date of your last dive in your request: the refresher is scheduled before your exploration dives.

I haven't dived for a long time, what happens?

If you are certified and have not dived for more than a year, a refresher is compulsory before any exploration dive. It is not a test: it is a dive with an instructor to get back into it.

What does the refresher include?

You go over the equipment, buoyancy control and safety skills, at your own pace, with an instructor.

What is the difference between a refresher and an introductory dive?

The refresher is for certified divers coming back after more than a year; the introductory dive is for people who have never been certified.

How do I let you know I need a refresher?

Mention it in your request, together with the date of your last dive: the refresher is then planned before your exploration dives.

Is equipment provided for the refresher?

Yes, full equipment is provided, as for all the club's dives.
